1. Any visitors can read public articles, leave comments, download, or write in the Shout box.
2. Registered users can write personal blogs, read other's blogs, read protected articles, submit web links with comments, and upload documents.
3. Frequent or Trusted registered users will become authors, who may submit and edit their articles.

All articles have icons to allow a PDF view, be printed, and email to a friend.

5. Home and Gardens - advice onbuying or selling a home, recommend agents, review your experience with contractors, or the process of weekend projects
6. Parenting - share any tips to help new parents adjust, anything related to education and the teaching our children, whether at home, or attending daycares, vacation camps, Chinese schools
7. Heritage - lasting legacy, social strategies as a people, grand visions for the community
8. Health - sports, exercise, and health related services: recommend or warn us about doctors, dentists, opticians, herbal medicine, etc.

12. Contact Info - priviledged access, this stores the new addesses of friends who moved to other areas.
